They say that when you see a sparrow or any bird in a city it means that the air is still clean. I saw lots of sparrows earlier outside our house and it was a bright sunny day with the soft wind blowing and the trees swaying. I am so thankful to God for the beautiful weather and nature.

I want to lie down under a big leafy tree staring at the clear blue sky with white fluffy clouds listening to the songs of the birds and the whistling of the wind.

I want to feel the warmth of the morning sun and the caress of the wind. I want to touch the soft green grass and smell the perfume magically produced by the beautiful flowers.

As I was trekking a mountain up North, I saw tall pine trees but they had burnt black trunks, it made me sad.. They got burnt during a forest fire. I looked at them and as I touch a tree I was trying to talk to them to thank them for staying strong and I thank God that they did not burn into ashes. I remember the forest fires that I saw along the way to the mountain.

I continued walking and I saw small pine trees. It was raining and the cold wind was blowing hard burning my face but the rain made the young pine trees glisten. Their leaves are still thin and short but it was bright green in color and the water droplets from the rain were like little lights sparkling.

I was shivering but then I was walking along a path that was magical and dream like. I felt like I was in a fairy forest. I touched the leaves of the small pine trees with my cold fingers, it was soft and I whispered, "Sorry because my hands are dirty. Thank you because you strive to become as strong as the other tall pine trees. Thank you for showing me your beauty." I look up in the sky, it was dark full of clouds and rain drops falling and not a sign of the sun. The wind continued to blow hard.

I told God, I'll try my best to bear the coldness and I almost did not make it but I know it will be best for the forest so it can help in stopping the forest fire. God did not let me down. I survived and with me are the beautiful memories of the forest.

"The measure you give will be the measure you get"

Whatever you give will be given back to you.

Do you ask for a million when you cannot even share anything to others?
Do you demand to be respected when you cannot even respect anyone?

Remember, whatever you give will be given back to you.

Respect others and expect them to respect you as well.
Share your blessings and expect to receive more. ^_^

Though the skill in fine arts run in the family, I had no formal training.
But I believe that God gave me the talent as his gift.
And so I continue to create art especially the ones that show the beauty of the eyes as the eyes are the window to our soul.
For me, eyes are the most beautiful part of a person.
Each person has his or her own precious two pairs that are able to see and express the beauty and sadness in everything.

What was I doing the past year? I forgot to post anything last 2016 as I was busy with a lot of things I guess... Especially since I joined a painting group late 2013. I also had to attend weddings last 2015 until the early part of 2016, tour for our exhibits and even went abroad... I went to different provinces to promote our painting exhibit and of course in preparation to that, I had to finish a lot of paintings.
